People ask who I am, and my friends call me “Kate the runner.” I like to think of myself as Kate, the:
runner,
lover,
laugher,
confidante,
drinking buddy,
reader,
terrible pun maker, and
friend.
A lofty aspiration? Perhaps. But I guess that’s part of who I am too.
i am a terrible pun maker too. i always try to out-pun my mom but she is the master and i never fail to…well, fail π
i saw on hangry pant’s “fun facts” post that you are from Pittsburgh (i know that sounds weird but i just saw Pittsburgh on the screen and it caught my eye!). I am too! What part of the city are you from?
I think I got my penchant for punmaking from my maternal grandfather. He still out-puns me to this day!
I am, in fact, from Pittsburgh! I grew up in Wexford and went to Carnegie Mellon for undergrad. I miss my hometown!! Where in Pgh are you from?
I’m from the South Hills area but I’m moving this fall to Shadyside/Squirrel Hill to attend Chatham University. Did you move from Pgh? Where do you live now?
Hi Pittsburghers!! I’m a transplanter from upstate NY, currently a Shadysider. π
My hubby lived in Pittsburgh for a time for school. I would drive from DC to visit him. I really love that city.
Beautiful blog, Kate!
that is such a beautiful picture!
p.s. I make some bad puns too. And end up the only one laughing, which doesn’t bother me a bit by the way!
Hi Kate (anfd fellow member of FYAA lol) ! So glad I found your blog and I look forward to following.
Glad I found your blog! I think those are all great things to be. Making bad puns makes things fun!
